There’s now a choice of 4 different lure boxes. Whichever box you choose, you’ll receive a selection of lures, all in proven Wrasse catching colours, a packet of 6 hooks, a packet of 6 x 7g cone weights with glass beads and a 6m length of fluorocarbon for tying the rigs.
Any lure colours in these boxes can be swapped. Simply fill out the ‘User Remarks’ box on checkout or contact me directly and I’ll swap them over.

Creature Box
Creature baits are designed to imitate bottom dwelling crustaceans, a staple food source of ballan wrasse. Work these slowly around kelp beds and boulders, letting the buoyant claws float into the defence position whilst the lure is paused.
This box contains 30 Coastal Creatures, a packet of 1/0 Extra Wide Gap hooks, 6 x 7g cone weights and 6m of fluorocarbon.
Wrasse Stick Box
Wrasse find it very difficult to refuse a Wrasse Stick
Work these lures slowly through kelp or around boulders with several small flicks followed by a 4 or 5 second pause.

The Coastal Paddletail is designed to mimic the swimming action of small fish such as blenny and goby, a staple food source of ballan wrasse.
They feature a wide, flat tail that moves side-to-side when retrieved, creating a vibrating action in the water that wrasse can detect through their lateral lines.
